Welcome to Quant Station. Quant Station is an advanced financial market charting & monitoring program. This page contains important step-by-step instructions for getting started with the program and opening charts. If you have a printer, then it may be helpful to print this page

Connect and Setup a Data service

In order to maximize the powerful of Quant Station, you should have a supported Data Vendor or Broker account ready. We support many vendors & brokers, more are added in frequently, the list is available here. If your vendor or broker is not supported yet, feel free to drop us an email at support@quant-edge.com or add your request to Features Request List. When there are enough number of requests, we then will implement the interface to support the vendor/broker please see custom essay

Quant Edge Data Service which support

  • Delayed data (cover many exchanges globally)
  • Historical data (US markets and Forex)

will be available at the end of the month. The data service is a part of the platform, which our customer, if does not need real-time data, could access to market movements at detail levels easy and quickly

In the meaning, if you do not have any data vendor or broker account that is supported by Quant Station, we recommend you to download and install the demo service from IB (Interactive Broker). IB TWS software could be downloaded directly from this link


After finishing the installation of TWS, double click on TWS icon on the Desktop to start the trading program

If you have a trading or paper account with IB, login using your password. Otherwise, type in edemo for username and demouser for password

Make sure the Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients is checked as shown in the figure

Start Quant Station by double click on the icon

Find the TWS's connection dialog and click Yes

Configure Quant Station & Start drawing Chart

If Quant Station is not already running then press the Start button on your desktop and select Start >> All Programs >> Quant Edge >> Quant Station to run it. When Quant Station is started, the main program window will be blank. This is normal since no charts are open

Depended on data vendor or broker you are using, you may need to configure the connection for it

Create a new chart for JPM using IB data feed
